Artistic Director and Principal Conductor,
Seocho Philharmonia, Seoul
In 2026 he completed a seven-year traversal of all 107 Haydn symphonies — the first cycle of its kind performed by a single orchestra in a single hall. An American conductor trained at UCLA, where he later taught conducting, he founded the Republic of Korea Armed Forces Symphony Orchestra and served as its first Music Director. Since 2009 he has led memorial concerts for Korean War veterans in twenty-two United Nations participating nations.
“The performances by the Seocho Philharmonia and UCLA Brass Quintet are splendid.”
